As we currently bump down I-65, south of Louisville, KY, we are rejoicing in what the Lord has done over the last couple of months—for the opportunities of ministry, for the brothers and sisters in Christ with whom we’ve enjoyed sweet fellowship, for the divine appointments with people that we would not have met unless the Lord brought our paths together, and for those who put their trust in Christ for salvation—for all these things we say, “Thanks to God!”

The Christian school meetings at both Newark Baptist Temple of Heath, OH, and Heritage Baptist Church of Woodbridge, VA, provided us daily opportunities to minister in music and to share practical, life-altering truths from God’s Word with junior high and high school students. It is always a privilege to invest in the next generation of servants, and we pray that they will continue on to “serve the Lord in sincerity and in truth.” (Joshua 24:14)

From Virginia, we traveled to Southington, CT, for a Sunday-Wednesday meeting with Pastor Jim Townsley, the people of Central Baptist Church, and the students of New England Baptist College.  We had a fantastic week with excellent attendance, daily school/college chapel, and a definite sense of the Spirit’s moving in the nightly services.

After traveling to Michigan to drop off our trailer and children (to stay with grandparents) and flying to Oklahoma City to attend a brief Bible conference, we arrived back to Michigan, gathered our belongings, and headed toward Kalamazoo to begin a 6-day meeting with Pastor Tom Harrison and the Prairie Baptist Church family.  We were thrilled for one trusting Christ as Savior on Sunday morning and for very profitable services throughout the week. It is always a privilege to serve alongside and to glean from the Harrisons who have served so faithfully at Prairie.  They are truly a blessing to our family!

Next, we traveled to Allen Baptist Church for a 4-day meeting.  This was our first time to meet Pastor Wruck and his congregation, and we appreciated their kind hospitality and the faithfulness of the folks to attend services nightly.

We eagerly anticipated our next stop for a 6-day meeting in Wayland, IA, with childhood friends of Tim’s family, Pastor Bob Wolfe and church family.  Tim reports of some significant services while I (Brittany) was conducting children’s meetings downstairs during the preaching.  We were honored to have friends from the area attend some of the services and to fellowship with church folks throughout the week.

Our next stop was Bloomington, IL,  to be with dear friends, Pastor Todd and Rachel Harrison and crew of boys, and the Bible Baptist Church congregation.  This was our fourth 8-day meeting with BBC, and it was definitely one of the best!  One person trusted Christ as Savior on the first Sunday morning, we provided music and children’s meetings during the week and enjoyed an activity with the youth group on Saturday, and were thrilled that church folks had prayed and worked diligently to invite guests for the final Sunday morning gospel service.  Many guests attended including a couple that our family met just the day before.  Though no one indicated that they trusted Christ during the service, one young man made an appointment to meet with Pastor Todd to discuss the message, and we are confident that the gospel was clear and that the Spirit was obviously working.  We ended the week with a musical concert that evening.  We praise the Lord for the opportunity to serve with Todd and Rachel; their friendship is truly a treasure!

I am writing this update at the conclusion of our meeting at Dexter Gospel Independent Baptist Church.  The church folks faithfully invited guests to the services, and we met several of them during the 4-day meeting.  We praise the Lord for the faithfulness of Pastor Dan Robelen and his congregation and their obvious concern for souls.  The meeting concluded with Tim preaching to the congregation PLUS the entire AWANA group a simple message from John 3:16.

Thank you for keeping up with us, for praying for our family, and for investing interest in folks coming to faith in Christ and Christians being revived for effective service.  We are honored to serve the Lord in this way, and we are humbled by your friendship.

For His Glory,

Tim and Brittany
