As I updated a close friend this morning on our recent family and ministry happenings, I thought it would be appropriate to share this more transparent update again right here….

“Family has been doing well. We left immediately after our final service in NJ last night to avoid big city morning traffic and had a wonderful stay in a Cabelas’s parking lot. We chose the location b/c the parking looked very spacious according to the map, but it was more than we could’ve asked for. It was a HUGE parking lot specifically geared for RVs with a dump station, dog and horse area exercise area, and a very safe, well-lit area for parking. We’ve never come across such a setup in all of our night travels. Such a blessing!😃. Samuel woke up with a headache and fever this morning; Asher doesn’t seem to be 100% himself either. Please do pray for them to recover quickly and for the rest of us to remain healthy. We’ve been so blessed with overall good health this year and would appreciate prayers for good rest and health, especially as we jump head first into the first youth week of camp at the Bill Rice Ranch this Monday. We’ve always arrived a couple of weeks ahead of time to prep, but this is a totally new venture for us.

I [Brittany] will mention that I’ve been teaching kids meetings on a more regular basis lately. I’ve admittedly not looked forward to it at times (that’s terrible, I know, but it is quite the undertaking with music responsibilities and then going straight into teaching 4-8 yr olds) BUT….it has been so rewarding to carefully share the gospel each week with little ones who are on the brink of trusting Christ as their personal Saviour as well as to tell them the story of Bill Rice’s Cowboy Boots in Darkest Africa. This five-day continuing story is riveting, and the kids seem to really enjoy the action-packed journey of Bill Rice’s three month evangelistic tour in Africa. From Proverbs 2, the love of wisdom has also been a reoccurring theme woven into my lesson time, which I pray the children will remember always.”

Thank you so much for your prayers, interest, and investment in our family ministry.
