We are overdue in reporting to you of God’s goodness to us in ministry and are eager to let you know of just a few of the opportunities God has given us both in churches and with individuals we have met in our travels. We are constantly amazed at how our God orchestrates appointments and circumstances to bring us His children closer to Himself for His glory. Here is just a sampling…

On December 30, we had the privilege to be with Pastor Keith Smith and Pine Bluff Baptist Church. We have such an appreciation for Bro. Keith and this ministry, the home church of Venture of Faith Camp, where Brittany attended camp as a young person and surrendered her life to the Lord. The day was filled with sweet reunions with friends and God’s Spirit obviously at work in the services. The following Sunday, we joined our friend, Pastor Billy Ingram, at Canaan Baptist Church near Conyers, GA. Bro. Billy and Christy have a very special place in our hearts, and it was a privilege to love on their family, preach all day for them, as well as work with their choir on a theme chorus for the year.

After the holiday season, our travels took us to FL two separate Sunday-Wednesday meetings. Both Victory Baptist Church in Ocoee and First Baptist Church of Land O’ Lakes are pastored by men who obviously desire to see God work in their congregations. We had some excellent services at both churches and are confident of the Lord’s working in hearts. From there, we headed north to Victory Baptist Church in Thomasville, GA, where we’ve held meetings in the past. As before, the folks at Victory anticipated God’s working in their midst, and we thank the Lord for a profitable meeting with our dear friends there.

Since our southern meetings, we continued heading up the east coast with meetings in North Carolina, Virginia, Pennsylvania, a quick trip to Pensacola Christian College (Florida), Massachusetts, back to Pennsylvania (where I currently write), and we will end our northeast travels this following week in New Jersey. Some of the highlights have included an entire JV public school basketball team and two Mormon missionaries showing up for a gospel- preaching service in NC; record attendance for services in one Virginia church where the people were greatly encouraged and stirred for future ministry opportunities; a young mother, who had been attending the church in Massachusetts and searching for answers, trusted Christ on Sunday morning after clearly understanding the gospel message. Over and over, we have seen pastors encouraged and their people refreshed and stirred to see God continue a work in them. We fully expect God to continue to do “great and mighty things” in their midst.

We counted it a particular honor to be invited to preach and provide special music for the Wednesday evening service and several chapels for our alma mater, Pensacola Christian College, on April 24-26. God obviously gave us His grace for the time there, and we rejoice that many faculty commented that they were helped by the Wednesday evening service. We also had the opportunity to talk with several college students after chapel services and trust that God is continuing to direct their steps.

In one week, we will head back to Tennessee to work in the youth weeks at the Bill Rice Ranch. Our family eagerly looks forward to this opportunity to serve alongside friends and to be a part of our home church for several weeks.

Thank you for your support, your prayers, and your words of encouragement. Your investment is not in vain. God has certainly been at work. May the Lord richly bless you for partnering with us for the sake of the gospel and eternity.

  1. Bro Tim and Ms. Brittany, You don’t know how many times your message on “Be still and know that I am God” has come to my mind in different circumstances that have come up since you were at our church. All of the messages that you preached were such a help and were much needed encouragement. Thank you for your faithful ministry of the Word of God.
